Aquapod 12 Owners Using Glass Top

Aquapod 12 Owners, anybody using the glass top? I got a Six Line Wrasse, and am afraid that he might jump out. If anybody is using the glass top do you notice a huge temp difference?

I have an aquapod 24 with glass top and 150w MH and heater set at 76 and it stays at 76 all day. I havent had the tank long so i cant tell you what my summer temps are.

On my 24g, I did not notice a large temp difference. What I did notice was salt accumulation that killed my PAR. Then one day I took it off for some maintenance then sat on it that was that.

You may look to build a screen for the top instead of glass.

I tried the acryllic top route. Under just PC light in 2 days the 1/4" acryllic warped and looked like a potato chip.

I used the glass for a long time with no heat problem on my AP24 but if I was doing it over I would build a screen like I did for my 120G.

does the glass top for 24 cover the whole unit or just tank side not filter side?

ok i'm gonna order one and didn't want it to cover the back section i got that k2 viper light and wanted to make sure it would still fit thanks

I have the glass top on my Aquapod 12 with the 150 MH with no problem.
