Can someone post some pictures of really unique reef tank aquascaping? I did the live rock wall thing and find it unimpressive. My tank is shallow but deep and I can't come up with any ideas. I am untalented in this enterprise so any inspiration would be great!

Did you see the thread with a link to the video on aquascaping? It was just posted recently but I cant find it. THe video had some really neat tips.

What size/dimension is your tank?

here is a photo of one of my displays its noithing special but it is different

I wouldnt call mine really unique, but defiantly not the wall! Pictures really don't do it justice. I am just not sure where to put corals:sad:

If I ever have to tear down for some reason I will recape the tank with some pillars using plastic rods. I like how fish are able to swim around the rocks. Seems like more of a reef.

I have never saved any pics nor can I remember the link to one of them. But one in general stands out to me. It was a cube tank with a single pillar structure in the middle and it had a few shelves coming off of it. The weight balance was perfect for the pillar. I know someone else has seen the same tank. I think it was on reef central.

I really like the one in here.

Thats the one. I now its been seen in alot of threads. Simple I like. There was another link where a guy used eggcrate to build a wall along the back of his tank and used some pillars in the front. Heres an alright pic of it.

Thanks

William...thats really cool!

What was used here on the back wall? Any idea?

I love the use of Tonga branch in your system rostato I wish we had rock like that in the S.A trade

Here is one option. http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=146_237">http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=146_237</a>

Joe, that's a great option, but that price would kill my wallet!

<span style="color: black;">I'm not sure about ceramic. I have a few friends that do ceramic engineering-they R&D ceramic cylinder blocks for more fuel efficient cars-and told me that it will leach chemicals pretty bad. That is one of the reasons why ceramic bowls are all coated or glazed.</span>
<span style="color: black;"> </span>
<span style="color: black;">I'm not sure what kind of ceramic they're using though.</span>

Thanks. The only problem with the tonga branch is that it's going to be hard to get corals to stick to it. We'll see in a few months when I start to add more corals...
