Not so sure I like it but I dropped the rock in today. I still have several pieces of rock left. I wanted to use larger pieces and create a lot of swim room as well as caves and tunnels. My wife gave it an 8 out of 10. I am sure over the next month I will tinker with it to try and get a 10. The tank is 36" wide and I wanted to use the depth to create a lot of areas to swim through to use the depth of the tank. Would love your feedback. I am no sensitive so do not worry about hurting my feelings.

I would not change a thing brother.
That looks really nice. Is any of it touching the back glass?

None of it is touching any glass. The front is at least 8 inches and the back is at least 5 inches. Easy to clean and good water flow. I am going to add a Vortech on the back as well. I wanted the fish to be able to swim all the way around the back of the rock and through the rock. Thanks for the kind words. I just feel there is something that would make it a little better.

Maybe try like an open center, so you have like two structures with an open center, congregation area....

I started out with the intentions of an open center but you can see the massive rock that is covering the center but left a great tunnel. The rock was just too perfect for acroporas to pass up putting there. I may switch it out though and go with an open center.

I like it - if you go plenty of flow with no dead spots and not touching the glass then youve won. Ive learned the tank owner will never ever be happy with the way the rock is, you will change it many times but it will never look quite as good as the first stab.

If you had to do anything I would take some out. Less is more...

Thanks. I just went back down and checked it out again and it is growing on me more and more. Plenty of swim room. Lots of tunnels and caves. I think it is going to work. Plenty of space up top for acros. I can do some isolated rocks on the sandbed for my chalices and a ricordia. With 5 40s running in the tank...flow should not be a problem.

It took me months to be happy with my aquascaping on my 250g tank so I can defiantly feel your pain. You fix one area then find something else that needs to be tweaked. By the time your done you probably rearranged the rocks three times over....

Im glad you wont get your feelings hurt.... I think it looks horrible. You call that aquascaping? Its repulsive and I cannot believe you put that on ARC! JK i think it looks great and I would leave it the way it is! Great looking tank!!!! Id gladly put my name on it!

Thanks Legal. I tweaked it a little today and I finally think it is just right for what I am looking for. I debated and island setup but went with a reef wall as I always do. I hope to get some pictures up tomorrow.
