Aquascaping with PVC / Eggcrate?

Anyone have some good photos / how-to on creating some great LR aquascaping using PVC? I've seen a few photos of what looked like holes drilled into PVC piping. Any details on how to get this done right would be great. I'm going to want to have a lot of caves in the next setup.

I have seen some stuff on RC regarding builds that people have done, doing what you are referring to.

there are a few methods like this.

one is you just use the pvc/egg crate as a frame and zip tied or glue rocks to it.

Second is to use the pvc/egg crate as a frame and attach a few rocks to it, but then use an exanding foam to fill in between the rocks. you then cover the dried foam with some epoxy and sprinkle sand on top of it.
