Well, First off I want to say I hate the fact that if the power goes off the timer goes back to factory settings and starts off at 8 am.
Here lies my issue. I am hoping I am not the only one that has spent 30 mins to an hour putting back the correct times for my Actinic and Daylight bulbs and for some wierd reason the fixture would not come back on. So I hit reset and I unplugged and left off for awhile and tried again and nothing .
Well to make a long story short because I did this 7 o r8 times and I was about ready to send in for warranty because the light is less than a year old . I realized I had reprogrammed the lights but left the CLOCK on the timer at 8am and my lights are off at 8 am. UGHHHH:wow2: . After I finally figured it out I laughed because of how STUPID I felt.
Sorry for the rant , Something about being as easy as setting the correct time back on the clock to make me feel like a idiot.

I noticed on my 24 in Aquatic T5 fixture when the power goes off the clock stays the same but on my 36 in and the 48 which are both less than a year old no back up. Its a Pain.
