I recently replaced my t5 lighting with the AquaticLife 6 lamp t5 (48") light. I am not a lighting expert and wanted to get some feedback on the lighting configuration that came with the lamp. The configuration is below.

1 - 10k (white)
1 - 460/620nm (purple)
4 - 420/460nm (blue)
8 - blue LED moonlights

I was surprised to see so many blue actnic's and only 1 10k. Not familiar at all with the 460/620 but I do recall a local LFS speaking highly of them in the past.

Programming
Blue (blue, blue, blue) - 10::00 - 22:00
White ( white, purple, blue) - 12:00 - 19:00
Night (LED moonlightes) - 7:00 - 23:00

Any advice, suggestions, explanation, comments would be appreciatted?
Should I replace 1 of the blue with another 10k on the White mode?

Corals are mostly Soft (zoas, leather, acan, etc.), although a few are SPS ( montipora, plate coral ).

Plus fish, shrimp, crabs, feather dusters,

75 gallon tank.

I had the 72" version of this one before I upgraded to LED. It was a great fixture.

Your photo period looks a little long in my opinion, but I dont know what you keep. I replaced my bulbs with ATI bulbs once the stock lights ran their course. You could replace a blue with a white if you wanted to, mine came with more than one white I believe. Its all about how much blue you like, I prefer more blue than white myself.

One thing to keep in mind about this fixture is that if it gets unplugged or you lose power, you will lose all of your programming.

Thanks. Agree with the photo period so I am backing off. More like 8 hours total, except for the moonlights. Not necessarily wanting more white, just curious about what is best for my coral.
