Aquatraders LED 'Reef Bright' 48 light - Thoughts/Opinions?

Looking for some opinions on the 48" 'Reef Bright' LED light at Aquatraders. It claims to have: LEDs Count: 54, 3340 Lumens, Super energy efficient 1 watt HQ LEDs, 46x 10,000K LEDs, 8x Actinic 460nm LEDs and uses a total of 54 watts of power.

Aquatraders just got these in last month so I was curious to see if anyone was daring enough to give one a shot and, if so, I was interested to see how it works.

Saw gnashty's setup and he's got LED's and everything seems to be loving the light. Would love to do something like that with mine (and it would give me the ability to put my canopy on, too).

Crap, it will be white, way too white. Really not that much light.

Sweet, thanks man. I'll put them on my list and pick up two at some point soon. Gotta figure out the best way to mount them over that tank.

That's way to many white and not enough blue, the color would be horrible

I would search all of the salt water fish forums for feedback on Aquatraders....

Whoops - sorry - I've moved on. db366 posted a link to some LED lights that would work far better than the aquatraders set and work very well for my 72g bowfront. They've since gone on sale ($15 less per fixture). I wanted to check before ordering and make sure those are the ones I should get.

Feedback from users who have the same lights would be awesome on how they work.

Before buying send them a message and tell them you want the one that is 30 blue/25 white. If you want around a 14k color.

Most definitely. I just noticed they ARE 30 blue and 25 white LED's so I'll be putting the order through in just a min. Will definitely post pics when I receive them.

Edit: gnashty has these - or some very similar - on his tank and they look awesome.. I'm hoping mine look half as cool as his did.

Now I can use my 760w light on the new 'frag' tank I just bought after I get it fixed... woot

LED arrived tonight and I got them installed. Will be creating a new thread shortly with results. Very impressive, I must say
