does anyone use this?

i started using it about a month ago havent seen much but growth and color all seem nice so maybe its working.

Anyway my question is i was doing a search to see if it did anything at all for clams and found that it needs to be refrigerated i somehow missed this on the package so do i need to throw it away and get a new bottle? i hope not thanks for any info

I would go ahead and start putting it in the fridge. You probably bought it off the shelf and not from the fridge, so it should be okay.

I used the product as well and always forget that it needs to be kept in the fridge.

Had the same thing happen to me, I went ahead and used it, BUT.....the area that I was storing it in was cool. I then put it in the fridge and have used it since without drama.

(the TINY print set us up for that!)

I noticed my GSP take off not long after I started using it. (but, GSP is generally a fast grower anyways, so not sure if the fuel helped or not).

ya you would think they would put it in big bold letters who reads the whole bottle anyway ;)

i saw more of a color boost than a growth

Thanks for the posts. Refrigerating the fuel is simply a recommendation. The efficacy of the product will not be harmed in any way by not refrigerating the bottle. As a matter of fact, we use fuel on all of our reef tanks here at Seachem and just store the bottles under the tanks without issue. Also, for future reference, if anyone has questions about Seachem products, it will be best if you can post them in our Seachem sub-forum here on the Atlanta Reef Club forum. We receive automatic emails when they are posted there and will answer them immediately. I hope this helps!

Awesome to know, thanks for chiming in - I am sure several people have failed to refrigerator.

Myself included! I saw the thread and sent Seachem an email. Happy to see they are so quick to reply!

What do you need? PM me if I can help. Aquavitro now comes in 1 liter sizes, if you weren't aware...

No I wasn't actually. Hmm, send you a PM

Does Aquavitro Fuel have an expiration date? The bottle I have is close to a year old. I used it regularly when first puchased, but took about a six month break. I was wondering if it is still usable.

Thanks,

It should be fine, but I'm sure Seachem will chime in here.

I asked the same thing yesterday at Jenn's Birthday Bash. The Seachem girl said I would be good to go....no worries of not refrigerating and no worries regarding expiration dates.
