Keep em, get rid of em? I do not have any soft coral. I read that they should go.

These are Asterina</em>. I like them. Most of them are harmless opportunistic scavengers or herbivores. Some can munch on corals but I have never found them to be problematic.

i dont like them cause they eat my coralline algae and like said above some might eat corals.so i take them out when i see them.im about to buy a harlequin shrrimp and put him in the tank(they eat starfish) to take care of them.

Just collect them and give them to a hobbyist with a harlequin shrimp. You can even sell them if you have a good amount as they are a vital food for the harlequin and some hobbyist prefer to give their livestock their natural prey.

The zillions in my tank distract me as I'm trying to admire :yuk: wish I could have a harlequin over for a few days for dinner!
Collecting isn't an option!
