Are these Spirorbid Worms?... Cuz ... its an explosion

They're everywhere! What eats these filter feeding jerks?

Here you can see all these dark spots on the rock. I've always had them (for over 5 years now), but more recently they have exploded. How can I keep these things in check?

So now I've got a problem...

They look like vermited (sp?) snails. My yellow coris wrasse took care of them in no time.

Hmmmm... I was thinking about putting a melanarus wrasse in there. That should work? Yes?

I've had them in both of my reef tanks for probably 6 months now. Mine really only extend they lines when I stir everything up from doing a water change. And there isn't enough of them for me to concerned.

the small ones i use a razor to scrape them off and 1/4in tube to suck them out there is a larger worm that seams to go after favas they form there shell under the corals soft tishu and dont purduse a stack but just a sharp edge on the serfice of the coral for the mouth those require kalk paste put in the worms hole and a little super glue to seal the hole or you can tare/cut them out but there like land worms every pease turns in to a new worm
