I installed my new fixture today and I have to say that I hate the color the bulb is producing. I bought a PFO HQI pendant used off of RC. It supposably has a XM 20k. Well this has to be the yellowest 20k bulb I have ever seen. I noticed when I put the bulb in that there was no markings and I am having a hard time believing its a 20k. I know there was thread on here about people having yellow xm's but that seemed to be the 10k's. Its really not a big deal because I plan on getting a new bulb anyway but just wanting to know if I should just stay away from XM's. Has anybody else had problems with yellow 20k's from them or do you think the bulb I got may be a different bulb all together?

Its either a 10k or the balast is not putting out enough power. I would lean toward the 10k though.

It's not a xm bulb.

The xm's are labled and the 20k's are blue.

(XM20K)
Thanks, I would love to know. I am leaning toward what Raj said though and its probably an ebay bulb.

I have tons of xm bulbs and they are ALL labled.
