I was trying to save some pennies and ordered a light for my frag tank off Ebay. From China.
So it came today and it has a funny pronged plug - looks like a mini dryer plug. I checked the listing and it says 24V.

Whats the best way to use handle this?
Would just an adapter work? Maybe try to source a new power supply cord? A step down thingy-ma-bobber?

I know nothing about electricity so I can't even Google solutions efficiently.

What's the amperage listed on the lights? If its 24v you could find a wall wart power supply just got to make sure it's going to handle the lights. Pics?

Being its grounded there should be 3 wires a green a white and a black. On the plug you get at HD or Lowe's the screws are well should be a green screw a copper color screw and a silver color screw. The white wire goes to the silver black goes to the copper and the green goes to the green
