I got an email back saying that he misspoke, and it was "best offer over $300". I didn't feel like driving an hour plus just to "make a bid".

I got the same response. I think it was a hoax. He probably wanted $300 for it but then got all these responses so now he's playing the "auction" game. High bidder wins. If I get bored..I may go take a look.

I got the same response. I asked him what type of ReefKeeper he had and he said it was the first generation (before the RK2). I think he said it only did lights and temp.
