ASM-g1 skimmer reactions?

Anyone have this skimmer, or any skimmer in the ASM line to comment on their effectiveness? I am thinking about getting the g1 to run on a medium-heavy bioloaded 40g reef set up. Anyone think that it will get the job done?

With a couple small MODS you can get an ASm to really do a good job. Out of the box it will work but you will be happier after the MODS.

I have the G2 I believe on my 95 with a 39G sump and it works great. No mods. Should be fine.

I run two ASM G6 skimmers in the store. The only thing I have done to them is a gate valve mod to replace the outlet pipe and allow for finer adjustments in the bubble height.
