ATL Corals?

Does anyone know what's being referenced when a coral is labelled "ATL"? I know that "JF (coral)" refers to Jason Fox and "PC (coral)" refers to Professional Corals but what's the "ATL"? There are a lot of different "brand" names and I'm sure there are some crossovers but does the ATL designation have anything to do with Atlanta?

Is there a specific coral name you are mentioning? I’ve seen Atlanta Aquarium’s coral on budmans coral.

The ones that comes to mind are "ATL Appleberry Monti" and "ATL Mystic Acro (Acropora granulosa)"

From my searches it looks like it was a company in California called Atlantis Aquarium. Not 100% on that though.

@FutureInterest or @dball711 may be able to shed more light on it.

Pretty sure it’s Atlantis Aquarium corals.

A little of both. Some corals are from our very own @atlantaaquarium. Like the chameleon or frogspawn or the yellow tip purple stylo. There are others from Atlantis Aquarium out in cali. They are now closed down though as they switched to a more profitable business of growing medical marijuana. They both go by ATL... so it can be confusing.

I believe its Atlantis Aquarium too. I used to have their Shades of Fall and thats how they had it listed.
Normally I see Altanta Aquarium stuff listed as AA.
