Looking to add an ATO to my system. I would prefer something that is relatively inexpensive and fairly idiot proof. :unsure: Does such thing exist? It would be an in-sump add on to a ~300g system with 100g stocktank sump.

Suggestions? Vendors?

Pure Reef had a real simple one. I bought mine online, but it was a DIY kit; not the PR one.. I would have spent half and it would have been up and running already had i bought the one that PR sells. Jenn also had a good deal on the TOM pumps. Not sure what they cost now.

I use the ones from Autotopoff.com as well on both of my tanks. Add an Aqualifter pump and some air tubing and you're all set. Works like a champ!!

if you have an RO unit anywhere near by just get one of kent float valves, and make sure you have one of the pressure tanks to prevent TDS creep.

I use one of them thats tapped off my 200g RO storage tank with a solenoid on a timer so its only on for 5 min twice a day. Works great.
