In a small 10 gallon inNovative Marine, I have a 1 gallon top off, I have a custom cut clear plexi-glass cover and I’d like to know if there is anything additive wise that I should be putting in there? I use distilled water that I’ve had good luck with and prime in it and that’s all for the past year but would I have better success adding anything else to the top off container? I’m starting to also use rodi in it soon... thanks

If you're using distilled water, you shouldn't need to add the Prime but it probably isn't hurting anything. I like the idea of adding the All For Reef but there has to be something taking up the elements or things could get outta whack. Before you add anything like that, make sure you have a good baseline of tests. When you start to add it (or anything else) do it in a measured fashion. i.e. 1 tsp per gallon of top off or something like that. Then test again to see how much is being taken up by the tank's inhabitants. It sounds like a bit of a pain but it really is simple. For example, my frag system uses 17mL of Calcium and 20mL of Alk per day. It took me a few weeks and quite a bit of testing to dial it in but now I only test a few times a month and things are pretty consistent.

Sounds good so all for reef or polyp labs one? Would work on top off container of a gallon? I’m not gonna put kalkwasser or ph additives right?
