Baby snails?

I see a lot of white dots on my tank glass. If you get close they look like an off white round or oval shape with a transparent shell around it. I did spot a few baby snails which makes me think that might be what these are. Is that okay?

Definitely baby snails. I saw at least 30 baby snails moving around today lol.

I am always wondering as well about the "white dots". While I think some of mine are snails, others are probably not. For example, in my 30 gallon all-in-one, the black divider in the back is covered in "white dots" (seemingly permanently) that don't move. If I see "white dots" on the glass in the mornings, I assume small snails or copepods.
