Hey guys I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Its been awhile since I've been on the site and wanted to see what was going with everyone. Soooo whats up everyone?
I also wanted to let everyone know that I have been through a lot the last year both in the hobby and with life. Everything is on the up and up now so everything is good. Unfortunately I lost my job about a year ago but luckily I was offered a new job about an hour later. The former job was a family business that I was apart of for 15 years so it was very difficult for me and my family when I was let go. I was very fortunate to be able to get another job but it was still hard.
Around the same time I had a few set backs in the hobby. I broke/cracked my 57 Rimless tank. Yep I broke it. I was trying to drill the holes for the ghost overflow and right as I was about to finish the second hole it broke. I tried to fix it maybe two times but I was frustrated and I gave up.
I now have an IM nano fusion 20. I have pretty much let the tank run on its on for the last year. It got pretty nasty and seven months ago. I think that was around the time my son was born. I now have a beautiful 7 month old boy and he is the best thing ever!
About two months ago I had a weekend off so I decided to clean up the tank and get it looking nice. Since that time I have been reinvigorated and I have been excited about the hobby again. I am doing my water changes again, I have been testing my water, and I have been spending to much money! So keep an eye out for some stuff for sale!
If you made it this far thanks for reading! I hope everyone is well and I hope everyone's tank is doing great!
