Well It's been 10+ years since I've been into the big reef tank world. And I've made some major upgrades already.
OK back ground, I have a 200 gallon peninsula tank build into the house(84x24x23), 18 years old now. sump system is in the basement and it's an old 125 tank. so total water volume is I'd say 250+ gallons.
The 200 was a Cichlid tank for the last 10 years. I took over a friends 90g reef last year and just moved everything into the 200.
Made some huge upgrades, Neptune Apex Controller, Kessil LED's + T5's, Neptune wav power heads, Neptune DOS.
I'm so pumped up to be getting back into this. Now I need help setting up the sump/fish room. I have plenty of old tanks to use for Quarnetine/sick tanks and I have a 100 gallon mixing vat.
Anyone ever set up a fish room? need ideas for a great layout.
