bag for purigen

Im wanting to use purigen in my biocubes media baskets. The only bag recomended for purigen is "the Bag" made by Seachem (180 microns) because the media is so fine. This bag is way to large for the chambers in the media baskets. Does anyone know of an alternative to "the Bag"?

Hi Ben,
Just get the Purigen 100grams size, it actually comes prepacked inside "the bag" and its perfect for the biocube. I used to have a biocube myself and thats what I had in the back chamber. We carry it in stock for $12.

I almost ordered that but figured id get the bulk bottle, not knowing it was such a fine media. will have to get one. Thanks for the response!

If you have the bulk bottle in hand already, you can also put it in "The Bag", coincidentally also a Seachem product that has smaller pores specifically intended to hold Purigen, of all things.

Personally I think the little prefilled/sealed bags are a more effective answer in nano tanks - little to no leakage & easy to swap out.
