This is the 3rd time or maybe even 4th that I've been left without power due to a bad storm coming through for a period of 12 plus hours I had to leave for work and my power is still off.

What makes me angry is that I told them where I was at and that they were working quickly to restore power to that grid at 8pm last night when they didn't even come out to repair the area that was across the street from me until about 10am.

I'm so frustrated to the point that if everything dies I'm getting out one time or 2 times OK but 4 times I have to replace corals and fish just doesn't make economic sense to me and in not exactly rolling in the dough me and my girl have to both work hard to make ends meet so I guess we will see what happens.

buy a generator. A cheap one for ~$300 will do great but will drive your neighbors insane with the noise. A Honda EU-1000 is about $900, silent and ridiculously powerful and efficient.

Well worth the investment.

I live in barnesville I'm probably only close to about 5 people on here but anyone that's close that has one they could bring over would be great

Like I said we don't exactly have money laying around. I usually keep a little bit in savings for emergencies but my engine in my car slung a rod 2 weeks ago and I just had to buy my bosses truck that I hit a deer in a few months prior and use that cash to fix the truck so I would have transportation to work murphys law been in full effect here plus I just had built a reprap printer. I will survey the damage whenever I get home tonight

It worked for me fine last night doing 1.75 hours off, 25 min on..

Mike that's very kind of u but I won't be off work till 9pm after work and I have no way of getting in touch with kristen because she has no way to charge her phone .

I'm assuming power will come back on by around 6 or 7 this evening or at least hoping for before that.

I really love reefing and I'm hoping for the best and maybe everything will survive I mean corals go 2 or 3 days at times in shipping and make it. One the plus side my house holds heat very well so the water wasn't cold last night but this morning it was on the low side

UPDATE

I was just informed power just came back on current temp in tank is 64 degrees. Power was off for about 22 hours. I won't know what damage was done until I get home I have 5 gallons of water on hand to do a water change as soon as I get home we will see.

I was informed that my rainbow anemone and clowns don't look happy but I'm hoping for the best

Well everything was still alive that I could tell. Did a water change only thing that concerns me is I smell that dead fishy smell but cannot account for anything missing so I'm not sure

Glad to hear you didn't suffer a full on crash. That was a long time without power. Keep us updated on how everything is doing.
