Ballast experts: Need recommendation to match existing MH ballasts

My present lighting setup uses EVC ballasts (which I am happy with). My new tank will need one more ballast (3 vs 2), and since EVCs are apparently no longer available, I need to give it my best shot trying to match the output (and therefore color) with what I have. I'd rather not sell two/buy three.

FWIW, present setup is 2x250w DE PFO pendants with Ushio 20KK bulbs.
I've already found another PFO pendant, so the ballast is the only missing ingredient.

i cant remember if i offered it to you before....but i have a ARO 250w ballast you could have.......that is once Rob unhooks it from his light.....not sure how similar ARO would be to the PFO....maybe Dave(GT) will chime in soon

Heck, that sounds awesome... is that the one on his frag tank? If so, then I can give Rob back HIS IceCap that I've borrowed, and he'll still be set up.

I feel like I have to trade something for it, though! Whaddaya need?

I'm now running ARO ballasts and frankly, like the output better than what the PFO ballast I did have was giving. JKMO. That doesn't help Barry find a comparable ballast though. Sorry.

Just to clarify, I'm using PFO lamps but EVC ballasts, so that still may work out.

yeah its the one on his frag tank....as far as i know...ok yeah im not familiar with EVC ballast....misread there......and no trade necessary.....i actually need to start getting rid of stuff......since im breaking down my tank and moving it in like 2 weeks......UGH!!!!...lol

moving to smyrna for a few months by the end of this month till my fiance and i get married.....then moving again down to St. john USVI in june....so ill be breaking down my tank completely sometime in late march/early april....gonna have to somehow see it i can get "someone" to ship me a tank down to ST john.....lol
