Band saw

Jin was nice enough to frag some acans & stuff for me with his band saw.

I want one but do not want to spend the money and found that they are on sale. I thought I would post this for others to see and see if anyone else has seen something similar maybe for less. Has anyone seen this site before? Jin were did you get yours from and what model. Sorry to call you out here bud.

The gentleman at the frag meeting uses a small workforce tile saw for his fragging.

They are super cheap.

you can get one at home depot for $109. went looking today.

Yea the only thing is they can not cut in a zig zag pattern like a band saw can. Thanks for the feed back.

The one you posted has a diamond blade so it can cut rock/coral. The one at Home Depot is a wood band saw and will not cut rock or coral. Get the diamond its made for the job.

I got mine from that exact link you have there Joe. I would highly recommend them. I had issues with my band saw and they hooked me up.

It is a wet band saw which protects the corals from getting heated during the cutting. Also as Carl has correctly noted it is has diamond blades so it cuts through even the hardest of corals like butter.

You know you have it bad in this hobby when you just know deep down inside that you MUST have more power tools to make the hobby more enjoyable lol.

But hey any reason to get a new power tool os a good reason for me.
