BDSM love yellow Watchman Goby and my Pistol Shrimp

I just checked on my YWG and noticed a HUGE and pretty deep scar on his head.
It's not looking bad - but it got me concerned, so I watched him for a bit.

The pistol he is currently living with is following him all around the tank, they seem to be quite "friends" - now whenever the Goby gets close to the burrow they share, the pistol will fire at him and hold his fins in his claws.

The Goby swims off, only to return some minutes later and get the same treatment - if they go for food together no aggression at all.

You think I should put some rubber masks in the tank for them???
