Ok just ordered two full beckett assemblies and two one inch uni-seals but what is a true union and where do i get them and what size...god i sound like a 5 year old

you know i can't ever find a tape measure when i need one it is from the top of the box to the collection cup aout 12-14 inches and the circumfrence is one thump touching the other thumb placed around it there is about 3 inches keeping the ends of my hans from touching

anyone know what this is .....above post or where to get them or even if i need them/

ok that true union threw me off i ordered the two full assembly and two uni seals i already got the hole saw for 1 3/4 to drill just waiting...I was told that this might be two much for this skimmer is that possible...

well this skimmer is going to be run off a 1.0hp pool pump but that pump is supplying the three frag tanks, uv sterolizer, and skimmer so i will have plenty of power with a shut off vavle to i can adjust the air off both as well as the pressure and flow of water of it....so i can only guess that the water level prob wont even be in the chamber will it?

dawgdude;201169 wrote: Ignore whoever told you that, the pump controls that, not the becketts. You run the same amount of water through a beckett as you would a venturi, the difference is that with a beckett you REALLY need the pump to be pressure rated.

That's not correct. The amount of water is not the biggest concern here, it's the amount of air that will be "injected". The size of the chamber and the size of the neck will determine the amount of air/water a skimmer can handle. Properly functioning becketts will inject significantly more air than the venturis that are currently installed.
