best 250W bulb

It's time to replace my 250W DE Phoenix 14k bulb. Should I change? I really like the phoenix, but is there a better bulb out there?

Depends on the ballast, but the only other options Ive heard of that can compare to the phoenix are radiums and reeflux.

What type and brand ballast are you running?

I'm using an icecap 250W electronic ballast. Is there a better option as far as replacing the ballast?

I looked at a couple of different sources that tested your ballast with several different bulbs and there is nothing in the phoenix 14k color range that even comes close to the par they emmit not even close some 10k's maybe but no 14 or (blueer) Is That A Word?
