I am currently trying to price out a new tank and i was curious besides ordering from an online retailer or a LFS what would be the best place to purchase persay a new 120 or 150 ( oceanic, starfire, etc..)

I know ill prob get the best deal just searching craigslist or the for sale ads here but i figured id throw this out there..

I think Tims is selling some 50 gal and 20 Gal if you need a tank to make a sump.

Well i am not really ready to purchase anything yet but i would like to price it out so i have a ballpark idea of what i would be spending for lighting, sump, skimmer, etc..

For used stuff you can't beat the ARC For Sale forum. For new tanks, I have usually gotten quoted from 2-3 ARC Sponsors then gone with the one with what I consider the best price/customer service combination.

You'd be surprised the pricing differences there are: When I bought my 210 AGA Reef Ready tank/stand, there was as much as a $600 price differential between ARC Sponsors for the same thing.
