Best way to bond live rock together?

Is there something besides epoxy that will be safe for a reef to bond rocks together.Im sure I'll use pvc and zipties but figure would like some type or morter for tiles or hydrolic cement to bond where i use zip ties.

You can use portland cement if you want

When I do my rock work over again I will do rods glued to a piece of acrylic. Drill and slide the rock on.

honestly the best way to do it that I've found (and it's a recent discovery because of improved husbandry haha) is to put a monti frag in the crack between the 2 and let it fuse between them.

I'm finding that all of a sudden most of my rock work is .. ummm.. stuck
