best way to buff acrylic scratches?

i was thinnking maybe for light scratches hit it with somee 2000 grit. any one got ideas or link ?

I would start at something like 1800 and work up towards 10k. There are kits out there for sale.

what size tank is it, i buffed several tanks.

I would purchase a acrylic polish kit for like 20 bucks or something. I just used one on my 24x24 cube a couple months ago. It took 2 times to clean it up pretty well. Considering its not for a show tank more of a grow out frag tank.

It took a little elbow grease but worked well. Its very fine I would think beyond 1800 or even 2400 doesnt even seem close. And theres techniqe side to side then up and down. I also have heard they work even better when wet.
