Best way to clean glass before putting water in?

Getting my tank wet this weekend, just curious what methods you guys recommend for getting the tank free of fingerprint smudges and dust (both outside AND inside) before I put water in...

Vinegar water works. Spray some on the paper towel and wipe it down.

Get a squeegee too. You can use it on the outside whenever clean it. I got one from HD and it's just for the tank(s).

How nasty is the stuff on the glass? Water will get most of the stuff off.

You'll be really, really mad if you take a paper towel & haze up your shiny new acrylic display tank.

What should be used instead... microfiber cloth?

Use a WET Mr Clean magic ereaser, perfect for acrylic.
