I have some rocks that been in h2o2 and boiled. (I got really sick!!) They were covered in lots of different algae and I could really use them in my tank. Right now I have them in a bucket w/ water from my reef tank and a pump. Is there anything else I can do to move this along?

Thanks for any help

If you have any "healthy" rock from your tank put it in with the dead rock. Just make sure it has a heater or stays around the tanks temp. Oh, and throw a little fish food in there.

Throw a good rock in there with it. Keep temp same as tank. Give it light. Take a tooth brush and brush some of the algae from the good rock into the water or on the dead rock. Try Purple Up to boost things.

How much rock are we talking about?

How much rock to you have in your tank?

How big a tank?

If it's just a few, small, boiled rocks in an established system, you could conceivably just throw them in the tank.......

You can do that all day long with bleached/dry rock
