BH-100 or Coral Life 220

Ok I have to get a protein skimmer and have the choice between these two. The reef octopus is hob and the coral life it's either. I have a55 gallon with sump. Can I just hang reef octopus on sump if so which compartment? Which do y'all think is best?

Edit: It doesn't have to be either of these I just found them for@$100 and was looking to stay under $150 if possible. So if you have any other in mind let me know.

I was leaning that way but not sure if it will hang on sump our I should just save up for one of their in sump models.

If you are patient enough to save up, I would reccomend that.
