I decided to try out the use of bio pellets. A small amount been in now for about a month. I am starting to get a brown algea, in tufts, in areas of least flow in my tank. It is difficult to pull off, really stuck in the rock. I am seeing it more and more.

Think it has anything to do with the bio pellets. I do good water changes about every two weeks, at least 40%.
