After the ARC meeting at Pure Reef a few weeks ago we picked up a rimless tank to replace the biocube we had upstairs. The tank was used as an Eshopps Demo tank, rimless, Eshopps overflow, Eshopps Nano sump, Orbit LED fixutres with a loop controller / remote.

Finally had the time & parts to wrap up the few little plumbing things, do a leak test and move the tank inside. Swap over happened Saturday. Used almost all new sand (kept about a cup of the old), reused all the rock - after about an hour of manual red bubble algae removal. 10 gallons of the water was also transferred from the old biocube.

So far - tank seems to be doing really well. I'll try to post some details about whats running on this tank and periodically post progress pics.

Here's a few iPhone pics from this morning.
