I'm just wondering where most of you are. Do you follow/break the rules or use equipment to bypass them?

Tank size?
24 gal cube

Additional equipment
none

Live Rock?
About 24 lbs (given and taken a lot over time)

How many fish in your tank?
1 diamond watchman
1 PJ Cardinal
1 Royal Gramma
(want to add 1 or 2)

How many corals?
Maybe an easier question four you. I need to take inventory.

Feel free to add on.

my understanding is that corals do not have a significant impact on bioload. I could very well be wrong though.

Personally I am way understocked IMHO.

I have a 60 cube with ~20 gallon sump
2 clowns
1 lawnmower blenny
1 green mandarin
2 RBTA
1 Flower anemone
assorted critters
assorted LPS/SPS/Softies

58 RR with 26g sump, 1 yellow tang, 2 oc clowns, 1 cleaner wrasse, 2 dominio damsels, and 32 corals. Im also running a skimmer

Uh... I'll prolly be on the high side:

180 with 135 sump

1 Hippo Tang
1 Kole Tang
1 Melanaurus Wrasse
1 Flame Angel
1 Midas Blenny
1 Lawnmower Blenny
2 Blackice Clowns
5 Dispar Anthias

But... I'll be adding mas! Mwahahaha

High and getting higher...

300g tank, 480g system

400-450lbs live rock

Tangs : Regal, Powder blue, blond naso, yellow, sailfin, clown
Anthias : 3x lyretail, 1x square back, 3x disbar, 3x bartlets
5x onyx clowns
12x chromis
2x engineer goby
1x mandarin
1x flasher wrass
1x Melanaurus wrasse
1x xmas wrass

probably forgetting some....Will easily be doubling that fish count by the time Im done.

I am prob. On the low side. 65 gallon mixed reef

2 Clowns
1 Yellow Tang
4 Peppermint shrimp
2 Bubble tip anemones

Corals have virtually no impact on bio-loads with the exception being those corals that require feeding such as nems and suncorals

I have a 110 with a 55 gallon sump running right now with 2 niger triggers pair of small clownfish a regal and juv. harlequin tusk. Also cleaner and peppermint shrimp and whats left of the cuc. Everything will get transferred to my larger system when it is complete with possible exception of the clowns as they are not growing as fast as the others and i am not sure I will have the lighting to support an anemone for them to hide in.

I have a fish market in my tank.
Trio of square box
Trio of flame wrasse
Blotchy anthias
Barlett Anthias
1 chromis( I call him the highlander, in the end there can only be one)
Purple tang
Tomini tang
Small regal
Lawnmower blenny
Sand shifting goby
And maybe a pound of shrimp

what people count shrimp? I subtract when I add shrimp because they catch uneaten food!

Ha you should have seen my 58g!
80lbs of rock
Tangs : Regal, clown, yellow, purple, sailfin
pair of lyretails
6line
13" engineer goby
mandarin
clown pair
lawnmower
and some others...i remember there were 16 fish in there when I took it down.

29g biocube
150w metal halide
aqua c remora pro skimmer
40lbs live rock
have 1 large clarki
a good bit of corals
Planning on getting:
another clarki
a yellow watchman goby
a shrimp of some kind
3 chromis
maybe a dwarf angel
and a good bit of corals.

Very cool to see all you have. Everyone has a preference though I feel the "understocked" fish tanks are still in progress :)

So, contemplating adding to what I already have, another pj cardinal, some type of pygmy angel (coral beauty, flame, cherub) or even  CLOWNs...

I got off the clown boat because I felt they were messy and invasive plus, mine couldn't live without a nem ... the nems grew too big too quickly. BUUUTTT... They are just so cool! Perhalps when I have the fundage, a mini maxi would be nice but, supposedly consume their host on occasion. BTAs are nice but I had poor luck.

I'm trying to keep my tank small but, I'm pretty much out of room

Maybe I just need a bigger tank... No. Refuse. REsist. Fail.
