Blenny found dead....on the floor

I came home today to find my Bi-color Blenny shriveled on the floor next to the tank. :boo:

I have a glass cover (which only covered half) that came with the tank, but I removed it weeks ago for aesthetic purposes. It was pretty dirty and sat precariously on the tank anyway.

I can't blame the Blenny, he/she was quite active and happy.

Anyone have suggestions on a good acrylic cover? Where to buy? Cost? Im open to DIY but if someone has an easy cover solution, Im all ears.

Acroholic had a light friendly screen cover post last month, I am in the process of actually getting one. Going to get Ace hardware to do it so all I have to do it pick it up
