How good is to run 7hr blues only then back to an AB+ setting??

If you're asking how efficient is running blues only, I've seen successful setups running only blues. You might not see the colors you want, but blues in the proper wavelength will be enough for zooxthanellae to photosynthesize.

The coral needs some white and UV also. I notice that in my tank, the corals close to the window (sun light) always grow faster than the one farther away.
