Hi everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster! I'm getting back into the hobby and rebuilding a 150 gallon tank. It has a Synergy Reef Shadow Overflow going through the wall into a repurposed closet for my sump room. I made the rookie mistake when I originally built the tank and didn't have access to the bulkheads going through the wall. Fast forward a couple years and a leak developed and before I know it, salt up and down the wall and the drywall destroyed. So that lead to the teardown of the tank and it sitting for a while.

So now I'm just getting it back up and running. So far I've got the sand and rocks set up and turned the pumps on yesterday! I need to adjust the vortechs a little it seems!

So now I'm getting to my questions. My old canopy isn't in great shape and I'd like to find a new one. The problem is my tank is an odd size, 5ft x 2ft x 2ft. Anyone know of a company selling canopies? I'm guessing I'm going to have to try a cabinet maker to finally find what I want.

Also, I'd like to have mainly lps but also the ability to have a few acros if I get things stable enough. I used Kessils in my previous tank, 2 a360x's and 2 a360 originals. The spectral controller I was using bit the dust so I'm trying to decide is it time to upgrade to the Kessil ap9x, go Radion, or just get a new spectral controller? If you had a fresh build what direction would you go? The lights I have are probably 7 years and 5 years old.

One last question! Any guru's on the southside, PTC area interested in playing mentor when "stuff" starts to happen?

thanks!
