Brass?!

Anyone used brass valve's under water? Is it okay? I was going to fit my Mag 5 with a brass fitting then put flex tubing on it for a return... Anyone heard of it causen' water problems?!

I don't think brass will work. It will corrode and contaminate your tank.

So, do I just put flex tubing over the threads on the mag 5?! How can I know it wont eventually blow the tube right off?

no, me too thats why I asking...lol I have a mag 5, it has threads on the part where the water flow comes out. I was wondering what I could use to hold the flex tubing on...

You need an adaptor like I got for my mag 7 and mag 5 for my chiller. It screws on to the threads on the pump and it has a place for the tubing to go onto. I forgot what the place where the tubing connect to is called.

Brass is an alloy that contains copper, which is bad for invertebrates, is it not? I wouldn't chance it.

a plastic one. Thats what I got. Works great! be sur eto throw some teflon on there.

ahah 2 strokes are a beast! I just got a CRF250X for xmass for my first bike. Im loving it. I got my first air at durhamtown the other day. haha that was scary.

Yeah I could jump doubles and tabletop but never a tripple too scared lol.. man that bike would stand up in 4th. It was NUTS. My friend had a yz125 so I had to out do him plus im 6'4" so...lol

haha tight man. I did a table top and a double yesterday but naw tripple too big for me right now lol. I love it. I've only been ridin since christmas. AND I have a headlight! HA
