Brown algae

I have what I think to be brown algae on my rock and glass, my tank has been up and running for a year and a half. I have just recently up graded my lights to a 3 250 watt mh. A week or so after installing them is when I started having the algae problem. I tested my water and my phosphates are a 2ppm so I have been doing water changes and put in some phosban in my filters. Am I on the right track to fixing this or is there something else I should be doing?

Sounds like you're doing the right thing to me. Add any sand stirring/dwelling fish lately?

I dont have but few fish I did add a few chromis last week.
