I have a 120 gallon tank and my sand tends to get brown fast, what can I do to stop this. Its very unsightly... Any suggestions out there?

Can you post a photo? It’s hard for me to determine what you are describing; detritus buildup, algae, cyano.

generally speaking, turning over the sand will help (not solve) with most problems. sleeper gobies are probably best for this, followed by other sand sifting gobies, followed by watchmen and pistol shrimp. I also find minimal value from sand sifting stars or Nassarius snails also.

that said; a photo will help.

Along with a photo, let us know how old the system is. You posted a tank shot with a bunch of anemones that I had to delete (per forum rules) but I did spot a bit of cyano in the 2nd pic you posted. It wasn't clear and I could be wrong but I think that's what you might have going on. A pic will allow us to better diagnose.
