Is there a difference in the inside lining of the brute than the rough neck?
Purchased a 50 gal. Brute first but it was too large for me to handle. The next size is 32 gal but it is a rough neck. No chemical problems between the two? Thanks, Bubba

I have both, the brute is much stronger, more durable. I have mine on wheels and its awesome. The 32 I use for bigger wc when I need it and general wet storage (lr in there now). the 32 has weaker walls but works well if you never have to move it full.

I have no issues with chemical leaching with either.

This is not a direct answer to your question, but last week Costco had the 32g for 19.99, they are regularly 29+. Call before you go. I was temped to buy one, but if I stick another pail in my home office, my wife will stick me in the Roughneck. She's only 95lbs, but don't get her mad :-)

Brute is Rubbermaid's commercial line, Roughneck is their home line. Both are food-grade.

The Brute will last longer, as it's more durable. I've got Brutes we've been using for going on 10 years now, and still going strong.

Thank you all for your information. I only want to mix my sw. in the thing, I do a 10 gal per week wc and store the mixed sw in the blue culligan water bottles. I have a rodi unit and I want to eliminate dragging my 19 gal out every other week. Thanks again, Bubba

Hey I want that 50g if you aren't going to use it. I have a 32 if you wanna trade. If you need anything else lemme know.
