Just a refresher to everyone.

I was helping a friend fight "hair" algae for MONTHS!!! I never was in front of it, just over the phone and computer. I went by there 2 weeks ago.. It's not "hair" it's Bryopsis. Sent her out to get some Tech M and started dosing. No test kit was available that day. didn't get one the next week either.. LOL... 2 weeks later ALL GONE!!! Tank looks great now!!!

Here is a good link for any of you who need some advise...

Just my $.02

FYI...keep a close eye on the salt level while dosing Mg, it can cause it to creep up.

Yup...saw this when I treated my former 300 gallon a few years ago.

Glad she has a success story! I couldn't get rid of mine after months of trying the TechM trick

Im at 1800ppm with teck-m, on my 3rd day .with a tank full of Bryopsis. Time will tell.

Good luck. Be sure to keep up with other parameters. Seems like mine got off when I tires it many many years ago

You are correct. Salinity is wanting to creep up a little, got to adjust with ro/di water, then you got to had more teck -m. Its a job. So far just a few days into it, im seeing a little white in the bryopsis.
I sure hope this works. If not, im going to some encouragement if you know what i mean.LOL:eek:
