I purchased a new zoa coral and have just found it has 4 bubbles directly in the center. What do I do to eliminate it? Bubba
I use a razor blade. It makes pretty quick work of them around zoas. Cut from the base though, don't pop the bubbles. Rinse in tank water (not in the tank obviously).
you could get an emrald crab, they make quick work of bubble algae, the most important thing to remember is to not pop the bubble and to deal with it before it gets out of control
Take the coral back out of your tank before removing them. You don't want to pop those and have hundreds. You should be able to pull them off at the base of the bubble.
