Does bubblegum rock occur naturally, or is it manufactured?

bubble gum rock was a name that was made up. it looks like that naturally. came in completely covered in coraline and never needed to be cured. mostly all were the same size and shape

It is a natural occuring rock. I have quite a bit of it

Bubblegum rock is aquacultured rock grown in the Gulf of Mexico.

I think i spoke to a rep from the company that makes this, isn't it just base rock that has been died a purple or pink color.

In case it is rock that looks like being made of LOTS of bubblegum drops - I have it in my tank, pretty cool stuff but I prefer the more porous one.

I got it at Cap. Bay. I found one reference to it on Google (amongst hundreds of references to music) calling it popcorn rock. It makes a nice addition to an aquascape. Here is a site with an image, although what I got was completely covered with pink coraline:
