Been gone a long time, in Oklahoma running a project and then a relocation to the Mid Atlantic. Getting ready to set back up my little Solana but also contemplating a new build and would like some thoughts on the equipment or in the tanks case, the supplier (heard good and bad).
The plan is mixed lps and sps with some select softies (shrooms)

Tank - 30x30x25 100gl starfire glass 3 sides with eurobracing - Glass cages
refugium - eshopps r-200 or r-300
Skimmer - Aqua C EV180 or Tunze 9410 (leaning tunze)
lighting - maxspect mazzuri p LED fixtures (2 or 3 modules)
Flow - 2 Tunze nanostream 6055 plus multi-controller
Calcium Reactor - Korallin 1502
Controller - either going reefkeeper elite or a controller for the calc reactor by itself since lights and tunze pumps have their own controllers
ATO - tunze osmolator (up in the air about ATO, don't know if the failure risk is worth the time savings)
Stand - Building myself to house the equipment and allow for ventillation over the fuge

Any advice or experience with the equipment listed would be appreciated, or possible recommendations if you think their is a better product that hits the same pricepoint.

Thank in Advance, hated being gone so long but coming back.

Hey there! I wondered what happened to you. Glad to see you are back. :)

I have heard more bad than good with respect to Glasscages. Earlies this year several folks here ordered custom tanks from Planet Aquarium out of Dallas, Tx (I think). They had nothing but good things to say about them. I got a quote from them myself but had to put that plan on hold.

If you consider acrylic, nobody better than MRC right here. :)

Thanks Stacy, i appreciate the advice, i have been hunting all over for a tank builder that doesnt want an arm and both legs and some of what i read regarding glass cages has been frightening. I will check the Dallas company out. Does anyone know if they are still building tanks at fishscales?
