Bulkheads

Anybody know the best place to buy some 1 inch slip/thread bulkheads? I was going to buy them from BRS but they didn't have very good reviews

I use the BRS bulkheads and they have been fine. I think a lot of the problems people have are because they use Teflon tape to seal with. Teflon tape is not intended for use with plastic pipe - use the paste type instead.

also... I have gotten bulkheads from Optimum Aquarium in Kennesaw (my LFS). They have good quality bulkheads, and they price them low (they claim they aren’t a profit item for them - YMMV)

I’ve plumbed a couple 300 gallon tanks and a few smaller tanks with these bulkheads and never had an issue.
