Left my screen top open a few inches from when I fed them last night. Found him on the floor this morning. My Diamond Goby. I had never even seen him go more than the height of my rock work, and never to the top of the tank. Lesson learned, keep the screen on at all times. Going to get a new one, he was my favorite, kept the tank nice and tidy.

Yeah, not sure. Once the lights went out he would disappear into his burrows, wouldn't see him until morning. Although Jeremy at SEA said they wonder at night.

Yeah they are, I've already picked up another. He's the only one who had earned his room and board. hah

yeah, thats what i was shooting for, the lesson. Until now, I honestly didnt think it was necessary as none of my fish ever tried, but now I will be more vigilant.

Mind you, they may have tried but didn't succeed until now.

It's also time for someone to update their build thread. Mabye this will take your mind off of the fish loss....

Just sayin...

Hah, not really much going on to be honest. No new equipment or anything. My tank is in the stabilization phase, if thats right. Just letting it mature nicely.

Understood...

Your tank build is one of the builds I look at for inspiration. I'm in the middle of an upgrade, and could use a little right now. LOL. I am in the stage that I work on the tank from the time I get home until about 1:00 AM. I don't know how you keep things so organized. By the time I add something, I end up having to un-do something that I had finished, and organized perfectly, then end up too tired to re-organize it by the end of the night. It's like a cannibalistic circle. You definetely gotta love this hobby to keep at it...

Well it's a shame you're so far, otherwise you'd be more than welcome to have a look for whatever inspiration you need.

Its worse when you have fire fish who keep finding a way to fit THROUGH the screen!

I plan on attending if everything goes well, and I can make the trip. Glad the bbq is inside the 285 perimeter of Atlanta.

Yellowtail tamarin wrasse (Anampses meleagrides). Beautiful, but pretty tough to get acclimated.
