Local for fish if something your looking for most will order for u and u get to see it before u buy it and most r still cheeper shipping kills u.u have to order over 200 with most online places.just my 2 cents

Yea I've noticed that after looking around the shipping adds another $20-$30 on your order :/

The key to buying online is buying a lot and during their sales which is something new everyday. I've found that customer service is very good and as a whole and I'll generally I'll get at least double the livestock that I would if I had purchased locally.

However, I've used the general liveaquaria site many times in the last 6 years. They're great about shipping and offer a 14 day arrive alive, stay alive guarantee. Their guarantee runs completely on the honor system, so they don't make you jump through hoops to get a credit. In all my purchases, only 1 fish has been lost in transit... a Turquoise rainbow. Pretty darn good.
